Club and Casino Magazine

So I've been checking out a lot of magazines lately. Trade rags, newsie rags and the like. I ran into an old friend the other day and she is doing some freelancing. We got to chatting and started talking about various magazines...basically what constitutes news and what is simply entertainment. She told me she is doing some work for Club and Casino Magazine - A Global Publication for Entertainment Technology - www.clubandcasinomagazine.com - some decent writing and cover stories, although, with a trade rag, how can it be true journalism? Great pics and a couple great spreads in the last issue - They had one on Prive - the night club inside Planet Hollywood. The mag has knowledgeable writers and they don't cross the line into snobville. Also found out that LDI is in town next week. According to one of my contacts there, the owners of Club and Casino Magazine will be hosting a Manufacturers Reception on Thursday the 23rd at Rick's, right here in Las Vegas. Free to all entertainment related manufacturers and anyone in the entertainment industry - cocktails and hors'doeuvres in a private room upstairs. Should be a good networking event and a great way to kick off the weekend.
