The Black Pearl, The Breakers and Dinner at Christies

Some of the Lightolier trainees stayed in Fall River for the weekend. We decided to check out Newport, RI today and had a blast! We had lunch at the Black Pearl and then did a tour of the The Breakers House, one of the Vanderbilt Mansions. Can you believe they had gold leaf and platinum on their walls and ceilings? It was certainly a symbol of the guilded age. Then we took a cocktail cruise on the harbor, saw some amazing sites and ate dinner at Christie's. We had a great time and I definitly want to go back next time to try sailing!
