Going home to Hiko/Alamo for 4th of July has become a tradition for Mikaela and me. I love the parade (and so does Mikaela - I'm sure it has nothing to do with the candy), seeing all of the people I grew up with and spending time where there's really no internet and mediocre cell service. The weather was great - and we enjoyed some hometown fireworks, watermelon with grandpa and lot's of fun with friends.
