Not so sweet, 

Is humble pie

More like chalk 

A little dry. 

A taste is

Hard to stomach

A bear to swallow

Enough to keep you

Til tomorrow

Or longer still! 

A slice a year 

Or maybe two

Is too much chalk 

For this gal to chew
