Painting Cupcakes

Mikaela received a cupcake party decorating set from her Aunt B for Christmas. On Tuesday we baked the cupcakes and on Wednesday, we decorated them. Since mommy had used all of the red food coloring for red velvet cake and never replaced it, our choice of colors for the frosting was blue or green. She chose green (has anyone ever eaten green frosting?) and was quite pleased with herself.

 The edible paper and paint made this project truly fun and she enjoyed it for awhile....

 She got to use her apron while she painted...
