AT BEST BUDDIES LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE AT INDIANA UNIVERSITY IN 2009. WE WERE WORKING ON LEADERSHIP AND TEAM WORK OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM WITH THE STUDENTS.

ME, LINDSAY AND MAGGIE AT OUR SPREAD THE WORD TO END THE WORD BOOTH AT THE FESTIVAL OF FRIENDSHIP IN 2010. THESE TWO LADIES ARE AMAZING AND I LOVED WORKING WITH THEM ON THE SPREAD THE WORD INITIATIVE.

THIS WAS FROM OUR LOCAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE BEFORE THE 2009-10 SCHOOL YEAR. WE HAD OVER 70 STUDENTS AND TEACHERS AT THE TRAINING. OUR STAFF WAS AMAZING AND DID A GREAT JOB OF PUTTING IT TOGETHER!

Today is Day 10 in my Top 30 before I Turn 30 Celebration. Today, I celebrate Best Buddies. Who knew that this job would be so fulfilling? I had a feeling - but I could never explain to someone who has never worked in non-profit just how fulfilling it is to work for a fantastic and much needed cause. The social integration movement and the work that is done by this organization and it's staff is making history - and I truly loved being a part of it. I could never pick just one favorite memory from working at this organization, but I do have to say that I loved working with the staff, the people and being part of the movement. Here's to equality, compassion and fighting the good fight! Here's to Best Buddies!
