Saying goodbye to the dress...

It's time I bid farewell to the wedding dress...

It's been in the closet for years and it's time for someone else to wear it...It was perfect for an outdoor wedding and the minimal, but intricate beading are just right. The back is corset style, which is very forgiving and very sexy. There is a bustle already sewn-in, so it's ready to go if your 5'6" or shorter. As you can see, it is a lovely and well made dress and looking for just the right, new owner!

I do have to say that I still can't believe how long its been since I've worn it...I was so young, in so many ways. So naive, so altruistic, so hopeful for the future and for what I believed I could do and be for someone else. But alas, life is never what I had planned it to be...and it turns out that I'm very different than I thought I was, and different still than I thought I would turn out to be.  I am grateful in many ways for the lessons this dress has brought me, but also grateful to bid the dress, and those years of so many ups and downs, goodbye.
